CEC Bank supports the initiative of SFA, AFIN, and ADV Group to strengthen social entrepreneurship in Romania.
Iași, September 2025 – The Social Finance Association (SFA Romania), in partnership with AFIN IFN S.A. and the “Alături de Voi” Romania Foundation (ADV Romania), announces the launch of the project “C.E.C. – Consolidate, Educate, Connect social entrepreneurs to sustainable resources,” implemented with the support of CEC Bank, the main sponsor of the initiative.
The project will run from September 2025 to August 2026 and aims to strengthen the capacity of social entrepreneurs and social economy organizations through consultancy, mentoring, and educational activities at the national level. The initiative is accompanied by a communication and promotion campaign designed to support the sustainable development of the social economy and to foster inclusion, innovation, and social responsibility within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Throughout its implementation, at least 50 social entrepreneurs will directly benefit from tailored consultancy and mentoring services, while 500 final beneficiaries, along with a wider audience of up to 100,000 people, will be reached through national communication and dissemination activities.
The project’s impact will be reflected in enhanced entrepreneurial skills, the development of a collaborative network of social organizations, and the amplification of the role of the social economy in Romania by supporting sustainable initiatives with real impact.
